Students passionate about cooking, baking, or careers in the food industry can explore the exciting world of Culinary Arts in this CTE program and discover a dynamic industry filled with endless career opportunities worldwide. This class covers the various concepts of food safety and sanitation, foundations of culinary preparation, basic culinary skills, world cuisines, nutrition, menu development, sustainability and food economics as well as aspects of workplace professionalism and customer service.
Through a mix of classroom learning and hands-on kitchen experience, students will master essential culinary skills and work productively as an individual and as part of a team. As food trends and preparation techniques continually evolve, the demand for innovative and knowledgeable professionals rises. This program opens doors in the food service industry, providing a solid foundation for further training or immediate entry into the workforce.
