Our newly-created CTE Aviation course offers an exhilarating look into the skies, introducing students to the captivating world of aviation. This ground-based program is tailored for aspiring pilots, aircraft technicians, or aviation enthusiasts and covers the fundamentals of flight, aircraft operations, and aerospace technology. Students explore aerodynamics, navigation principles, aviation safety, and the mechanics of aircraft systems. Engage in hands-on experiences that may include flight simulation, maintenance workshops, and visits to aviation facilities. The curriculum also emphasizes essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, preparing students for potential careers in aviation or further studies in related fields. This ground course will prepare you to take the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) private pilot written exam.
